It hurts to cry,

Even more to say good-bye.

And we miss you

The memories we share

Because you were here.

The memories we would have made,

If you were to have stayed.

Cradling your head

On my shoulder as your bed.

Kissing your fingers and your toes

And your ears and nose

Seeing your eyes

Watching angels in the skies.

Moments to keep

Are watching you sleep.

Letting you rest

Upon my breast.

Seeing you sigh

For quote awhile

Truly I'll miss

Each sweet kiss.

Now parting is sorrow

Pain for tomorrow

We struggle each day

In every way.

Dreams in the night

Of holding you tight

To have you near

Where there’s nothing to fear

Tears reflects the pain

And the heartaches we gain.

We miss you still

And it makes us ill.

We find ourselves slow

To let you go

Therefore you must know

That we love you so.

With deep heavy sighs

And tears in our eyes

To life we must bend
